RPA FAQ
The most common questions and answers about RPA software robots.
What does a software robot look like?
The robot is basically a computer application and it functions like a traditional computer software. Our Demo videos help you get a better understanding of our robots.
Unlike the functions of a regular software, the robot’s actions can be visible. Seemingly, there is someone working on the computer (mouse is moving, keypad is working, applications are changing on the screen, etc.). There are a couple significant differences though, the robots work a lot faster than humans, never get tired and never make mistakes.
How much time does it take to build a new, fully functioning robot?
The development time depends on the process we want to automate. The more complicated the process, the more time it takes to build the robot.
Building a mid-level difficulty robot approximately takes 2-3 months.
This time frame is only a fraction of the time that traditional IT developments (SAP, Oracle) requires.
How much does the robot cost?
The development cost mainly depends on the difficulty of the process we intent to automate, how much time the developers spend on the project and how many FTEs the robot can save.
According to a McKinsey study (see details in the RPA News section) automation offers a potential ROI of 30%-200% in the first year. Even saving just one FTE with robots can be beneficial in short term for the company.
What systems is the robot compatible with?
The robot can basically work with all kinds of systems.
What the robot does is copying the activity of a person running the process and following exactly the same steps. So, the robot can access and work with the same systems human process owners work with e.g. ERP, Workflows, databases, files, websites, etc.
When robots are not recommended?

How can I be sure that my company’s data is safe during and after the automation process?
We carefully manage customers’ sensitive data. We always comply with customers data policy, external and internal regulations.
Sensitive data is stored on the customer servers and robots are installed on the same servers.
